Found OUR home!

I am glad we have found our future home together!
The "home" search was quite challenging due to the option of "buying" vs. "renting"
More so because I want to live somewhere convenient busing to Downtown Seattle.

After researching the house market, evaluating the economy, consulting with several people,
we decided to rent, rather than to buy.
We were looking at several apartment complex close to the Overlake Transit Center within our budget of $1000.00 for one bedroom apartment.
We were quite settled with Archstone Redmond Court for $970/month and Jack would drive me every morning to the transit center. However, when we contacted them about a week ago regarding their availability for next month, the rent price went up to $1085/month!
We decided to look some more until we found some units on craigslist within our budget.
Sadly, those units did not include washer & dryer - which was a big turn down for me.

Thank God, last Monday, we found this apartment in downtown Bellevue for $1050/month.
We checked it out and we both like it. I like it more because of the 2 additional storage closets it has.
The only problem is just that the apartment is located down from a very steep hill.
If Seattle has bad winter like two years ago, we can end up getting lock in our apartment for days.

Despite the challenge, and the option of looking into more apartments, we have made our decision.
We pray that God will help us settle down quickly and build our home peacefully =)

    I wish i have the persistance of writing a blog just to document moments in my daily life, mannn it's been a while ga denger kabarmu, ther...
    I def miss Seattle esp w/ rainy season here...so much diff.... Here is 25ish degrees cold, laron, mosquitos, banjir haha
    Anyway, just wanna say HI! And my goodness, I miss u a lot:(

  2. time does fly, doesn't it? :)Youuu with two boys!! yeah, i hope one of these days, we can grab ninie along on ladies' date night and catch up =D seattle is getting gersang dan makin gersang haha....marini wis married to thong. steven wis for good... Seems like i need to catch up with you sooooonnnnn =) 2014 ill be back to indo again. km kapan jalan2 LA sekalian sini lagi, c? ;)

  3. I'll be going there in August 2012, pas lebaran Idul Fitri...this time bakal bawa Vinc & Ken...i hope we survive haha.

    Steven for good udah lama ya? Ya wes karuan pulang daripada ndak laku2 ndek sana hahaha

    Life is much different when you have kids...date night isa kepikiran arek2 ndek rumah ngapain ya hahaha we hardly go out just the two of us (dating) since we work Mon-Sat, pulang rumah udah jam 7'ish, blm mandi, dll, so the time we spend with the kids is very little, esp. with Ken, jam 8pm ke atas ya wes ngoroklah de'e haha..

    Abis kawin nanti honeymoon brp lama?
    puas-puas'in, ther, keliling dunia, ke europe, dll...
    apalagi ndek sana ga ada suster + maids alamakkk...can not imagine!
    Kita ndek sini ada nannies & maids aja tiap mlm badan rasane mau mretel hahaha penuaan dini (x_x)
